- Guest Lecturer at the International Cuisine School at Suan Dusit University, Bangkok, Thailand
- Keynote Speaker at Royal Roads University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management’s Tourism Educators Conference
- Member of the Culinary Arts Program Advisory Committee of Vancouver Community College
- Won 1st Place in Premium Dining Menu and Casual Dining Menu categories menus and 1st Place in Overall Menu in the Alberta Restaurant Association competition in first 6 months as an executive chef
- Received the only British Columbia Provincial Apprenticeship Award and the only BC Foodsafe Award ever given to a chef
